ALARMED ... can't stop the abrupt halt in her step, nor the way she whirls around, trying with little success to conceal her off-guarded reaction. Laura doesn't want to play this game anymore. The answer shouldn't be shared, it was a trap that makes her expression sour ... why must it always be the scouts. Left with no other choice but to think of them in this way. Lips pursed together, words unspoken / the soft noises in her throat conceal turmoil, because she is left speechless.

“ Why would I even respond to- this is a pointless exercise. ” There's so much she wants to say, but simply can't. Defiance makes it worse, losing composure makes it worse ... she can only suck it up, and exhale heavily through her nose with irritation. POISED, calming the quiver in her furrowed expression, and the irrational beating of her heart ( it's the annoyance, getting flustered here is childish ) and she displays a disinterested, albeit displeased, gaze instead.

“ My hygiene is kept to high standard, so I don't need to be smelled. It's distracting and off putting. I can do without it. ” Petty. She knows what he's about ( he too is a decent person ) knows it means more / doesn't want to know what her scent is like to him. What is says about her.

... ... ... it's not enough to satisfy an answer.

“ Hange is- well, they've always been obscure. If it's one night then that's ... fine. ” It might keep them quiet for awhile. Oh, but expression falters on her answer ; she's not going to think about it too much. Embarrassing? No, absolutely not. It's just preposterous to even think about these things in the first place. It's not usually where her mind would wander - ever.

IT'S BETTER NOT TO THINK ABOUT IT ... and still, the next words can't come out. Frozen. Levi. She opens her mouth to speak, and again, is met with her own silence. Can't quite get her mind to stable the rush of thoughts, doesn't know how to process it / it's a game, a simple question, she doesn't need to think about it. The part of herself that does, however, makes her pause, unable to finish. Laura can't bring herself to even look around to make sure she's alone. Levi. There's no one word to describe him ... to put together any of it ; she can scarcely understand it herself ( couldn't understand herself ) / her hesitation is telling, and that makes it all the more difficult.

A couple notes regarding this blog!

- Lupin is notoriously a player, but also insanely popular. He’s worked hard on his charisma and skills to charm the pants off of nearly anyone. That being said, he flirts like there’s no tomorrow. It’s okay to not return his affections and to outright slap him for it! Lord knows it happens enough canonically. In the same vein, he won’t always share mutual feelings with another. So unrequited or one-sided interests are a-okay here!

- One night stands are also okay! Even with little development, considering the infamy of the man we’re dealing with. If you think they’d go ahead and jump into bed together, that’s totally fair and fine!

- It’s a personal preference of mine regarding t.umblr, but should anything actually explicit occur, I prefer either fading to black or taking it to d.iscord. I don’t want to write anything of a sexual nature (even under a cut) on this blog is all.

It's MEMORIES that he'd long put passed him, ones that now haunt him like a terrible joke. Shikamaru had put it to rest, quite literally buried what was the essence of his sensei's demise; rarely did he forget, but it never plagued him like this. Never like this.

Lately, it felt that bastard's voice echoed in his mind, a deep pit in his stomach forcing him to second guess the shadow's of his own home. A sacred, protected forest, where none could get in without him knowing; that none could get out, especially not someone who should be fading away day by day. It's been years, too long for it to come up again, && yet he's gone to check that grave too many times as of late. Just to see if the rubble remained, but never did he truly feel the need to dig that man up, and see for himself if he remained; not until the nightmares started to affect his day to day. Was that guy haunting him now? Why now.

Huh. Or, was as he losing it? He had to stay calm. Stay sound of mind.

But the days carried on and nothing changed; if anything, his paranoia started to get worse. Jumping at every sound, startled by the sharp cuts of the wind, he was on edge and it was noticeable ... it couldn't go on like this.

So, he made the decision to visit again. This time, he wasn't messing around. Maybe he'd been avoiding this for too long, but now, he was going to dig that fucker up.

At least the deer eased his anxiety, a gentle pat as they bowed to him, and it softens his features if only for a moment. As he approached, however, he stares at the spot from a distance, gaze narrowing again. This was a drag.

❝ No more time to waste. Well, it's been awhile, hasn't it? ... ❞ Did his 'God' let him die? Was that even possible for someone like him? Nah, it felt like he'd be too stubborn, too spiteful, to stay down. After all, it was Hidan who proclaimed he'd tear him apart with his teeth if he needed; a madman's desperation, now though? It felt almost chilling.

No more stalling, it was time. There was quite a bit of work ahead of him to set his mind at ease; one piece of rubble at a time. @supremebirb

Trunks had visited her college considering she said it would have been okay. Straight from the police academy Trunks had came in time during the end of her school day with a boxed lunch that he hopes they can enjoy together. Granted he’s already eaten the five boxes prior but the FINAL box is always the one he would share with her. “Hmmm, I wonder where she is..she said that she’d meet me here in the hallway.”

laura won't die for her comrades. she won't sacrifice herself. and when you first hear that of her, she sounds awful. cowardice. she does herself no justice in correcting it either. but if you fought with her then you know. it's not that she won't fight, she is the first one to demand she takes action, if you're even lucky enough to get a warning. in the corps, her captain would advise of the situation, and instead of heeding warning, she'd think; those obstacles just have to die, and the problem is solved. and she'd pull on the reigns of her horse and go. and what was once an intense worry for her unit instead became frustration that she just couldn't obey orders. she'd be yelled at the first few times. 'you have a death wish'. no, I just know I'd win.

she will fight for her comrades. she will take on any dangerous obstacle that stands in their way. but she won't view or act like it's risking her life, even when it is. she isn't giving you time, isn't saving the rest, she's 'going to take down all those obstacles in their way. because she will win. they won't defeat her.' it's not mindless arrogance, not that she's perfectly capable; her strength comes from that defiance to lose, and it's what led to those refined skills during her cadet days and survey corp days. she's a perfectionist, so she trained intensely to get everything precise; her body isn't built for physical combat, so she had to learn to adapt around it. the moment she sets her mind on something nothing could pull her away from it.

the one nice thing about laura is that she won't die on you. if you tell her to die for humanity, she'll tell you she won't. she'll live and fight instead. once she looks at something and tells herself, I have to win. there's not much you can do to stop her. she can't even stop herself. in turn, she also doesn't want people dying for her. she won't let you. if you get hurt because of her, she won't leave you alone for days. she is responsible for you now; even as she criticizes you for being stupid and that she doesn't need your protection. she sees her own life as important because it's her life, but when other people also feel that way with her it's overwhelmingly different that she doesn't know what to do with that information and ultimately appears like a prissy prick.

hello everyone, my name is innuī and i’m so so excited to bring joe aka roman to all of you here! for now, joe’s just looking a good time on the internet and tumblr seemed like the place to chill out after dealing with the stresses of the road life. he’s not interested in a hook-up or ship at the moment, but who knows what could happen down the line? he’s open to pretty much all connections except past relationships and fwbs at this stage. friends? yes, let’s see if there’s chemistry. possible enemies? let’s go for it.

he’s a single loving father with three children -- an eleven-year-old daughter and two-and-a-half-year old twin boys. he’s not with the mother of his children, and the divorce was amicable, nothing scandalous there (sorry, gossip blog!) 

joe works for the w.w.e. as r.oman r.eigns and if you know anything about him, you’re already aware he can be pretty polarizing. as a fan of his, i have my own feelings about that (in a nutshell: [ side-eye ]), but joe takes it all in stride the best he can. cheer or boo for him, his merch still sells.
